Holy Temple Holiness
Church of Deliverance, Inc.,
Florida was founded officially June 12, 2004.
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him....1 Peter 2:9
It began when a group of youth and their parents sought a place to worship and allow the Spirit of God to freely move in the midst. The church had its first service which resulted in sixty (60) members joining the church. The church seeks to be a guiding light for the community. It believes in soul development and community involvement. We seek to take the legacy of service initiated by the Founder of the National Holy Temple Holiness Churches of Deliverance, the late Chief Apostle Julia Williams into the twenty first (21) century. Our holistic approach is tailored to helping communities support the healthy development of youth. It is our belief that this will produce civic and responsible young leaders. We have been involved in advocacy which has linked an umbrella of concerned faith-based and community organizations together. Through our network, we have kept a watchful eye on the rise of social ills among youth. The church has blossomed into a full service biblically guided entity. To date:We provided home repair assistance for the elderly and the physically challenged. We initiated a youth volunteer program to expose young people to community serviceWe participated in the disaster relief response during the devastating hurricane season of 2005.We have provided housing for troubled youthWe have participated in the city of Lauderdale Lakes Martin Luther King celebration activitiesInitiated a food bank which benefits the communityWe hosted many relationship and parenting seminarsWe now have a church in Turks and Caicos (2008)We hosted Youth Programs in the city of Lauderdale LakesBishop Thomas E.
